Locals fishing and partying around the lake. Still open spots on Sunday evening. A bit trashy but sweet spot and the price is right. Great for a night or a few.

Report Check-InExcellent quiet nights sleep. We stopped one site over from the pin. Level and right by the water and dock. Lots of spaces all around the lake. Take your pic. Well maintained clean sites around the lake. No litter, which is a rarity in southern New Mexico. There was a farm smell that came and went on the wind. Not bad though.
Report Check-InStill $9 dry camping, $15 for full hookups. Pretty lake with several different kinds of water fowl. Tons of room for campers, some designated spots but looks like you can really park anywhere along the lake shore. Tricky to find a level spot after dark. Quiet and peaceful. Two bars T-mobile LTE.
