Something not right?

Description

Large gravel lot beside Shell station in Baker. Many large 18wheelers were present and several other RVs. Nothing fancy or beautiful but it is possible to pull far enough away from the road to have a quiet night. It was easy to find a level spot and the lot is big rig friendly but probably not tent friendly.

We initially tried the park in town but felt concerned that as people not travelling with kids that our presence there might make locals feel uncomfortable. This was a good alternative for us.

Latest Check-Ins

Big lot with lots of trucks and a few cars. reasonably quiet towards the back.

Report Check-In

Like others have said, it's nothing special, but it is a good place to sleep if you need and are passing through the area. Felt safe there and slept quite well.

Report Check-In

Nothing special. Open dirt load to park in. Several big rigs here when I arrived around 10 pm. Plenty of space to spread out and have some quiet to sleep.

Report Check-In

Exactly as described! We pulled in late and stayed as far to the back as possible. There weren’t any other vans/campers the night we were here but a lot of semis. There was some noise with semis coming in throughout the night but it does the job for a place to sleep!

It is what it says it is. Gravel lot. Big space. Some noise from the roads. You can get some darkness if you park in the back. Verizon monthly plan service available.
