Boelamien Rivier Camp | Established Campground

Wow, this is one of the best camp sites next to the Limpopo river. The bird life is great, with Fish eagles, Egyptian geese, go away birds, owls, kingfishers, doves, hornbills, etc.... all in the campsite. We also got a visit from elephants, bush buck, impala, kudu, monkeys and baboons (monkeys and baboons did not desturb us) Ambition was clean and hot shower was great. Campsites got electricity and braai areas. We will definitely be going back.

Great campsite on river with nice ablutions. We got directions from farm hand next door to site as no one was at house and gate by house was closed. Others at campsite said owner would eventually be about and we could pay then. Hippos in river and you could hear lions on the Botswanian side of river.

Beautiful camp site on the bank of the Limpopo River
Ablution old but clean and neat - warm water
Currently just 3 sites really usable
Frequent visits in camp from Hippo, Elephant etc (unfenced camp)
Amazing birdlife and peace and quiet
Accessible with large overlanding vehicles
R150 per adult and R100 per child per night

Stunning. Beautiful site on Limpopo. Ablutions spotless clean, lovely hot water. Elephant might stroll past your tent and hippos splashing in river might disturb the peace at night. A nature lovers paradise
