Lowry Park | Wild Camping

There are no overnight parking signs - HOWEVER I’ve stayed here intermittently over the past three weeks and never had any issues. But wanted those who are more risk adverse.

Regardless this is a lovely place to pass some time - overnight or during the day. Lots of space for the pup and plenty of trees with parking on either side to park in the shade. The park does get quite busy with youth sport on evenings and weekends but if you go all the way to the west end of the lot where the lot opens op you’ll (a) definitely find a spot and (b) not be impacted by ambient noise and foot traffic.

This place now has signs saying ‘no overnight parking.’ It was late and I was not willing to risk it so I moved elsewhere.

Great place to spend the night. Quiet and has bathrooms. I stayed at the exact spot of the GPS coordinates and it was great, two other vans there as well.

Quiet sports park, we parked at the exact spot of the GPS coordinates provided and it was perfect. The entrance off Yosemite Way was closed for constriction so we went around the other way. Super silent, just some quiet walkers in the morning.

yeah, thats the kind of place i'm looking for.dog park with plenty of leveled space in a nice neighbourhood. gonna get back

I’ve been here many times. Great dog park, ok bathroom. I got knocked on by a ranger at 830 this morning though and told me I had to leave. He didn’t give me a citation ‘this time.’

The recent overnight snow clearly gave me away vs being a typical park attendee

Open parking area between Lowry dog Park and the soccer fields. Very quiet, nice area to walk around, no parking restrictions.
