Long forest road with various pullouts throughout. From the 101, the road starts as gravel but soon turns into a paved road. We came from the Mount Townsend trailhead (going towards the 101) and saw a number of spots along the way. It’s a long road but easy to travel in a promaster. We camped at one closer to the trailhead and had no issues. Even saw a van staying overnight at the trailhead itself. No signs saying you couldn’t.

I think this spot is marked incorrectly on the map. It’s was just a pull off on the side of the service road… if you drive farther up the paved road there was a large pull in on the left. I stayed there instead.
Report Check-InNice open flat clearing with fire ring, room for two or three vans next to each other, 3 bars Verizon. No river access or trail access.
