Beautiful open field with views down over the valley. Lots of tall trees around. There are a number of spots on FS road 3725 but this one has the best view. Would not recommend continuing down the road past this point as road condition deteriorates. Right before this spot the road gets narrow and some trees may brush your rig, so if that’s a concern, pick one of the othe spots on the road.
Good cell service with both AT&T and Verizon.
Can be windy since it’s exposed. Other sites are in the trees a bit more. Minimal road traffic, very quiet. Tons of wildflowers so a decent number of bees in the summer but they keep to themselves.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This is a maze of rocky logging roads. Its not worth it in my opinion unless you are up for a more 4x4 type adventure.
Report Check-InDrive through the woods a bit and you will find lots of good potential camp spots. There are a handful of what look like permanent/seasonal settlements so I tried to find an area away from anyone else to not disturb the "locals". The higher up you go, the more the trees thin out and you get large flat meadows perfect for camping. Cell reception is good throughout most of the area.
