Something not right?

Description

I believe this is a Idaho Fish and Game campsite. Free. Informal sites. Some picnic tables. Pit toilet. Right on the river with boat access. Decent cell signal. AT&T works great. Coyotes howl at night.

Not many campers @ 7:00 pm. People still getting in /out of the river. Quiet & lots of room.

Awesome spot! Super open wide space by the River. Plenty of space between us and the other campers. Dog was able to run around and have a lot of fun. Drop toilet ok if you absolutely need it. Really great spot, except for some trash around. Please keep places like this clean!

Be careful parking vehicles around obvious campfire remains. People like to burn pallets leaving loads of nails in the dirt. Otherwise nice place, would stay here again.

We arrived about 6pm and all was O.K. but at 11pm some trucks and cars arrived and went into the far corner away from the river, that said no camping. Lights until 2:30 and shady happenings going on. we had one truck basically come alongside us and slowly crawl along. Checking us out, we put our headlights on and they floored it out of the campground.
I don't know what was happening, but it did not feel safe at all. We sadly do not recommend this place.

Decent informal campground with pit toilet, fire ring, and picnic table. Great wildlife! Coyote, elk, great horned owls. This is a party spot in the weekends for locals. There were people driving in and out until 1 am, music, drinking and other shenanigans. Good place to overnight durning the week.

Great spot next to the river. They have fire pits and some have picnic tables. Free

We were staying for one night and arrived around 7:00 pm. The night was very calm and we heard the coyotes hauling. The mosquitos are killers.

***Be aware of locals during the day. The next morning cars started to parked around us to go tubing in the river, kids were running around our trailer, adults were smoking next to our trailer door. When we were leaving at 11:00 am, we found one vehicle parked in front of our truck and one vehicle parked behind our trailer. It was hard to get out of the camp site.

Nice little spot. There was only a spot or two that were accessible due to snow.

Stopped here to sleep on the way to Yellowstone.
A popular spot the night we came, but there’s tons of space and many spacious sites. Beautiful starry sky, could hear the coyotes howling.
