This is along a long paved road that runs along the river up to a dam. Maybe 50-100 wild camp spots along the road up to the dam. Most the good ones (down by river) were taken Friday night, but still lots of pull offs open. This is one of the best spots. Get there before fishers (9am) or after they’ve left (9pm) to grab this spot. Cons: no Verizon coverage anywhere along road, - this spot has rocky entrance very rough road but I made it with my Prius, - not for trailers/RVs. Pros - private river entrance!!, - near rapids so nice white noise + fishing, - hidden from road, - 15 min walk from McGill campground (w trash can, flushing toilets but no sink).
