Great place to take a nap! The constant traffic noise is welcomed if you grew up in Queens NY…I liked that! Bathroom is spotless! I stop here often. Sleeping throughout the night is possible with 24/7 security cameras monitoring. I haven’t cared much for the food options, but that may be a go-to in a pinch.

AMAZING! I’ve camped here at least 100times. The road noise is definitely an issue if you’re poorly insulated but it’s not that bad if you park near the electric car chargers. You can do multiple days no problems

Stopped here for 1 night, slept without having any issues; stayed from about 11pm to 7:30 am

Stopped to check it out, with a view to overnighting. NY rest area rules say 3 hrs stopping only. Didn't challenge it.

We stayed 2 nights here and it’s perfect. 24h toilets, refill station for bottle of water, free wifi… we recommend and we’ll be back.

Long Island Welcome Center. Flat spaces, some road noise but nice. Other van lifers in the lot. signs say it's monitored 24 hrs / day, well lit, felt very safe.

Great rest stop/welcome center for overnight stays. Slept 3 nights (left during the day to explore) with no issue. Other campers/vans parked as well. Right next to the highway so road noise is pretty loud but if you park on the far side of the lot it’s a little better. Nice bathrooms, WiFi, NY local store, and mini Long Island museum exhibits.

Great spot for a night if you are heading out to eastern Long Island. Stayed for a night. Great options for food in the morning
