Huge campground about 20 miles from Santa Barbara on what is a nearly empty lake after 3 years of drought. Bathrooms, showers, dog park, and pool in summer. It was ok. We found the map and site locations very confusing because there are few markers just what are basically grass/dirt areas. It was fine for 1night. We paid $25 for a tent site. Prime tent sites, hookups, yurts etc are all more.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
haven't visited yet, but here is the link to the county website that provides info about the site. I'd add this myself if I could: https://www.countyofsb.org/727/Tent-Trailer-RV-Camping
Report Check-InThere was plenty of spaces left! Great spot, clean restroom, beautiful view. It was a quiet night and we felt safe as two young woman (:
Report Check-InFYI, they require a two-night stay on weekends (3 nights on holidays) and now won't take payment at the gate so you have to reserve online (and pay their dumb "reservation fee"). I didn't stay.
Report Check-InNice & mostly empty at this time of year with green grass still all around. The sites up near the yurt area are large. $25 in the off-season
Report Check-In$30 a night. coin op showers. something like 500 sites. most of the sites are packed in as close as they can get them but if you go to the higher numbered sites they are a little more private.
Report Check-In$30 for a tent spot with no hookups. Showed up at 9 pm on a Friday night in the summer and they still had space! Nice quiet camp spot under a big tree. Left at 7 am, but decent compared to other pricey American parking lots/campgrounds.
Report Check-InEstablished camp site. Rates were $25 off season plus $3 for dog. Didn't stay here no further info.
