Something not right?

Description

Just south of hot springs, huge spot for multiple campers. There was three converted buses, a converted sprinter van, and three or four smaller RV type vehicles. We could only hear the one bus we parked somewhat close to, and could yell to the van. The space is so large we couldn't even hear the others. Where we camped wasn't far from the road, and noise wasn't an issue. We could have went further from the road if we wanted. Right on the water, although you can't see it as it's blocked by bush.

Easy access for a van, a little steep and sandy for towing. Plenty of level spots by river. Arrived in AM, very quiet, flies got so bad that we didn’t stay.

Best place, right by the river, not busy at all during the weekdays. Best view on the cliff. We loved it so much we decided to stay 2 nights. We really enjoyed the hot springs too. Could definitely stay here for a whole week of vacations. Definitely drive back and forth to the lake Owyhee state park if you have time, it’s the best road trip. So fabulous!! Have a swim in the lake.

Very pretty canyon and stream. Lots of campsites - even on 4th of July Weekend.
Be careful of the poison ivy.

Nice spot in the canyon! We used the river for some kayaking. Many spots around so I am sure you find a quiet place. On the way out we saw some wolf in the canyon. Great place!

We spent 3 nights here around Christmas and loved it. The dog was able to run around safely. Except for 1 night we were alone.

We stayed at this spot for one night. It was a Wednesday night so it was pretty quiet, tons of space to camp. So beautiful! Right next to the river, some spots more secluded than others. We were unsure of swimming in the river so we didn’t. Bugs not too bad, especially once we had a fire. The road coming into the park on the way to the lake is long and there seemed to be a TON of spots if you kept driving, so If there isn’t space here you could keep going to check it out. No toilet here, but we drove another 5 mins or so and found another spot with a portapotty.
