Relaxed campground on the BRP. Staff and camp host were very friendly. Between 10-20% full on Summer weekday for general use sites. RV sites (+24ft sites) were closer to 50%+ full, definitely more people/less sites.
Internet. We nabbed spot A10 near the top of the hill for reference. I was able to work remotely, take calls, screen share and download medium size files with no issues
AT&T with hotspot: 2bars 4GLTE 12.6Mbps Down 2.5Mbps Up
Verizon with hotspot: 1-2bars 4GLTE 5.91Mbps Down 2.03 Mbps Up
Wooded sites with some that are not very level. We found a FCFS site easily, many available on this Friday late afternoon during "leaf peeping" season. Trails nearby.
Report Check-InBRP campground; wooded RV and tent camping. I am tent camping on the back side of C loop. Very quiet, no generator noise. Bathrooms clean but no showers. Sites are laid out nicely $20 per night for tent. Photo shows other prices. Nearest restaurant in Tuggly's Gap closes at 4pm, but a host of other restaurants, shops, groceries and gas are in nearby Floyd, about 10 miles away. Weak signal, but adequate for calls, texts, uploading this information, etc. with Verizon.
