Description

This is a winding dead end, paved for a service road that stops right at the river. Great place to tent camp, Van or passenger vehicle. no big rigs as there is nowhere to turn around at the bottom. there is a fire ring and a beautiful little access to a rock beach on the river. there are several pullouts along the road going down big enough for a vehicle or car as well. Not super level at the bottom but was able to run my front tires up on a rock to level my van out. stayed all night with no issues, no signs prohibiting camping. no cell phone signal for Verizon.

Still a great place for a tiny vehicle to park overnight. It's not level anywhere but if you're okay with that it's fine. please don't try and bring a big rig or even a large van in here because I just watched somebody try to turn around and it took them forever to get out of here. tiny vehicles only for great for a tent. there's one level camp spot right off the road and there are several on the beach below

awesome spot! room for 1, maybe 2 vans/cars - not a place for larger rigs as there is no place to human m turn around. easy access to the beautiful clear blue river. if you take the trail to the left, it'll take you to an area for great tent camping right by a more sandy part of the beach. few people came by to walk by the water but no one else tried to stay.

Beautiful spot! Stayed here a night and it was very peaceful. Had a couple others come down the road but they all left (not enough room for more than 1, maybe 2) River access and husband enjoyed fishing

Quiet, safe, peaceful, great. Goose on the big rock across the water in the morning

Nice spot at the end of a paved road. There are some pull off spots before then. The view of the river is beautiful and super clear!

Nice spot at the end of the paved forest road 1270, right by the river. Not much space for more than 1 or 2 vans - but a few other pull outs up the road that could work.

Right below the highway. Good spot to start your weekend but very loud highway traffic. Semis doing engine breaks all night. Probably wouldn’t stay here again

Same as described above, just wanted to add that it’s very busy on a Monday in June. Beautiful spot though
