Description

Lovely roadside comedor with outdoor seating. Tacos are 10 pesos and are made with your choice of flour or corn tacos (default was flour for us, so if you want corn, ask first). They had all kinds of fillings (chicken mole, picadillo, slow cooked beef, slow cooked pork, nopales, frijoles, etc.). If you order a plate you can choose several kinds of dishes and you get beans or rice and corn tortillas.
I bought a Michelada from the bar (separate business) which had two beers in it and came with spiced cucumbers and peanuts for 70 pesos.

We were looking for a spot to camp for free by the river and the owner's son led us to his favourite spot. Ask (politely) and he shall receive!
Great family, great food, great experience.

Great tacos. $15 a pop. Vegan friendly: made tacos with rice, beans, and nopales. Good salsa and we gave them an avocado that they put with the tacos. Really nice people and great price for the quality.

Can confirm, great home cooked meals served here. Just wish they offered more cervezas!

Cute little restaurant by the roadside. Others are between 4-6 different stews to choose from and it’s served with rice and beans. A great stop either before or after visiting the nearby waterfall.

Food was delicious. 90 pesos per dish.

I got a plate with 3 dishes, beans and tortillas, and Braden got 8 tacos and we each got a tequila drink from the tienda for 200 pesos. I also bought a Michelada from the bar (separate business) which had two beers in it and came with spiced cucumbers and peanuts for 70 pesos.
