Something not right?

Description

It’s not at 0m altitude, but I cannot find out the right altitude at this time. Hopefully somebody can add it.
(MOD NOTE: 2.123m according to Google Earth)

We ended up at this BLM spot for one night after a long day of driving. There’s a shelter with a picnic table underneath and a fire pit next to it. Very nice view over the valley and beautiful wild flowers, some little wild animals including little snakes and a lot of birds including hummingbirds. In the morning one woman came there to walk her dogs. Besides that, there were no other people.

A gigantic boulder is blocking half the road to get to this spot. I thought I could squeak by in my Econoline and dinged the side pretty good. Woops. I eventually decided to turn around because it was steep and muddy and dinged the other side coming back. What a great day

Report Check-In

Quiet location with no traffic while there. Road is okay to get there.

This place is heaven! Above the reservoir and between two creeks. You are in the middle of a meadow with a fire pit and picnic table. No verizon cell service. There is a tree down farther up the road so pretty much no through traffic. I had two cars drive up in 2 days.

Report Check-In

Great spot, about 15 minutes off the highway and up a skinny dirt road. Didn’t see another person and we stayed on Memorial Day weekend! no cell service
