Description

*Seasonal Closures

$10/night for 2 vehicles and 5 people and with the Senior Pass, $5/night. A dumpster and toilet are nice perks. We’re waiting for our bus to get fixed in Gypsum and this is the perfect hangout spot for 5 people, two buses, two dogs, one cat and one rabbit. We’re at the top of the hill - sites 6 and 7 - and the wind can be punishing but it’s short-lived and the view of the Eagle River is beautiful.

Report Check-In

Continue down the road a bit until you see the Campground sign. As others mention the road nose is high but a pretty area right on the river. Verizon LTE good. Picnic table and fire pit. Paved bike trail right nearby

Report Check-In

Beautiful little spot next to the river. Pic mic table, outdoor grill, cement potties. Very close to I70 so it is a bit loud.

Report Check-In

Nice BLM area right off the interstate but it was completely full when we arrived (8pm on a Wednesday). Paybox showed $10 overnight fee
