Nice spot far enough from the Interstate that you don't get much highway noise. Easy for any size rig.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Really great spot to stop for the night and stay the whole day. The highway noise is very minimal and it was easy to get to the spot with my 2wd Van, though I would definitely avoid this road if the weather has been wet at all.
Report Check-InLots of space to choose a spot. No mud when we were there but I can see this getting bad with heavy rain or snow. We were the only ones and had a quiet night. Saw a few cars going by in the morning. The road is easy to drive down.
Report Check-InReally scenic spot we stayed up on top instead of in the valley. DO NOT go past this spot if it’s rained in the last 2 weeks. It is impossible to pass no matter what car you have. Multiple people got stuck attempting to drive in the mud. Cell signal was good on att and sprint. Busy for day use on Sunday
Report Check-InSlept there on our way to Moab. The view is amazing. The road is good for any vehicule.
Report Check-InYou can hear distant highway noise and the very occasional train. But the view looking north is gorgeous, especially at sunset. Do NOT stay here if it's been raining. The dusty soil turns to slick adobe and you can tell where others have struggled. This is a great spot for a quick overnight right off the Floy exit. Also, if you go south on Floy Rd, there are agates to be found if you're into rockhounding.
Report Check-Innice spot other than bags full o trash left byA holes. wish we had room to take it out!
Report Check-InExactly as described by the original post. Flat area, far enough off highway so quiet. Easy stop for a night if you are on 70
Report Check-InAs described, super flat and open, easy to get to. Far enough from the highway. I had 3 bars of service with cricket.
Report Check-Ingreat easy spot with many flat choices near the highway without much noise. One motorhome shared our road but they left at 2am
Report Check-InSecluded sandy spot w formations around us, saw a couple trains in the distance, mice running around the field when we arrived at 10pm. No one around anywhere. 82degrees at night then woke up to 72 degrees. Can hear some highway noise but no one came on the gravel road.
Report Check-InThis is a great spot with lots of level terrain, great views and very little highway noise. 3 bars AT&T LTE.
Report Check-InNice open area for the dogs, secluded but not too tough to get too. Decent verizon cell service.
Report Check-InNice spot far enough from the Interstate that you don't get much highway noise. Easy for any size rig.
