Football Yard. Free. Safe. Since Overnight Parking at the National Park Entrance "Los Estoraques" is no longer allowed, this is a good alternative, that is recommended by the park Ranger. People will come, especially children - they are just nosy and curious depending on the vehicle you are driving. The more exotic, the more people *haha* But don't worry - they are extremely friendly and they'll respect your privacy.

WARNING: End of November 2023, a couple of French is robbed and stolen their vehicles (Toyota with a cell) and all their personal effects by guerillos dressed like soldiers. It happened at the stadium around 5 PM while young people were playing soccer next door.
During our visit 1 month later we did not feel insecure at all, however we must be careful.
We spent three nights at this place which is just perfect for overlanders. The ground is flat, almost no traffic, cold during the night and if you ask the Restaurant at the opposite side for their WI-FI password you can even stream movies. 🤩 Additionally, there is a playground with fitness stuff near by and in a few minutes only you can walk from here to the beautiful rock formations.
Report Check-InWe spend here one night without any problems. Nobody bothered or asked us.
We hiked the sendero in the park. Got there at 8.30am and nobody around

Report Check-InNice spot to stay in town. We stayed at the north end next to the covered sports field. Very friendly town, and quite nice to walk around. You can walk up to the cemetery for a nice view. Can also walk to the park from here in 10 minutes.
