Something not right?

Description

There are 2 camping areas right outside the Sitting Bull Falls gate. The road up to these sites is paved but the sites are dirt. Most smaller sized RVs should be able to get in.

Latest Check-Ins

Great site with pretty amazing rock hillside views. Look closely at the iOverlander map... the road crosses a 'creek/water feature' twice. You might make it through the first crossing with a jeep or similar vehicle, but the second crossing is pretty rough and would take some rock crawling.

We stayed at the first area, just off the road, and after the park closed around 4PM, there was no one on the road. Very quiet.

We have included some photos of the more difficult stretches of the dirt road past the initial campsite if you are so inclined. But that first camp area was great. Plenty of area for at least 3, maybe 4 rigs.

Report Check-In

Great spot for a night super windy but still nice and secluded at least at this time of year.

Beautiful spot in general, the falls are gorgeous.
The whole valley is a quiet little dream. I would assume the summer crowd would be big. The area was very clean (picked up what we found) and well kept.

Super windy so be careful cooking or making fires. The first spot is definitely large enough for multiple vehicles or a large RV. The second spot is smaller and a little further down the road from this marker. No service with Verizon but you can't beat the proximity to the falls!

about a mile away from sitting bull falls.... a must see ( and swim!) if ur in the area. This site obviously hasn't been used in quite a while. pretty overgrown, to the point only one fire ring was immediately available and I personally wouldn't have multiple vehicles there. on the plus side we had the place to ourselves :) absolutely stunning views and sunrise. the first day we were there there was no wind and very hot, bring your own shade. the second and third day was so windy it blew our propane stove off the table.

Report Check-In

2 large relatively flat cleared areas on right side of road inbound. Established firepits. Room for numerous vehicles at each site.
