We spent 4 days hiking and camping all around this magical desert and found dozens of campsites. Within 1/2 mile of here is the Esmeralda Beach campsite, the Esmeralda Palm Tree Oasis Campsite, and dozens of desert campsites. This one is located in a Joshua Tree Forest.
Zero cell signal, tons of wildlife and more incredible plants than you’ll know what to do with miles of amazing hiking.

This is a rough road in and I didn’t go all the way out to the palms because of the really deep sand. I turned left up a rocky little hill and there was a fire pit on a flat open spot. No cell service Verizon
