We found a large flat spot at the very end of the road, around the lake. No human activity after 8 pm but the lake surrounding is packed of straight dogs barking all night long 😒
Report Check-InRec to park near the entrance and walk around before driving into the park. If you go to the right through the trees you will find a flat parking area near the bathrooms this is the only area in the park that is level. Couldn’t find a water tap to fill my rv. Nice and quiet felt very secure and good telcel service which was a bonus as there wasn’t a lot of coverage in the park.
50 for camping 25 for entry per person. Very nice people at the gate.
Not the best for bigger rigs. When you enter, do not go left at the fork, go right. We are in a truck camper and we drove in 50m to the left and then walked around and there are lots of low branches and sections between trees that would be very tight. If we had stuck to the right, there are more options for camping.
Very beautiful spot.
Would not recommend going on a weekend as it is packed.
Report Check-InThis place is HUGE and very developed in comparison to many of the other camping options in parque El Chico. Driving through the turreted Disney World entrance will give you a bit of an idea of what you're in for. We drove around a ways and never found a 'camping' area. Lots of stalls down on the water selling drinks and food. We ended up posting up near to what appears to be the paintball area. Where we were able to get out of the dust and it was quieter.
We paid $25 per person entry and $50 per tent (in our case our truck) so a total of $100 for 2 people. Cheapest camping we've found in the area yet, but a bit developed for our tastes.
