Latest Check-Ins

Do not go past this point if you have a travel trailer. there is no way to turn it around. if your camping in a van or tent there are 2 more spots on up. I have 2 bars of Verizon service here. it's peaceful and quiet. 2wd accessable. but this spot is designed for multiple campers so you won't be alone.

Report Check-In

Just as the last person perfectly said.. Last spot on this road with good Verizon reception. There was absolutely no reception at the very last spot up on a hill so we turned around and came here. There are multiple fire rings on this one section of the woods so it can fit a few rigs, but they'd be somewhat close.

There's one more spot after this a little further down the road, and that's where we stayed. All others were taken when we arrived Sunday night. No cell service at the last spot, but you can walk a bit up the road if needed. Road is rocky, but easily passable. Not too many potholes, and it actually gets nicer the further down you drive. The end of the road widens out, so you can easily turn around in a van. Not sure about larger vehicles, but maybe? haven't driven one so I couldn't say.

Great spot. Hard to find level parking. Lots of fire rings but someone left coals unattended. Had to leave because it started to snow, didn’t want to get stuck up here. Pretty, quiet, serene forest just off the dirt road. Good T-Mobile phone service. Road is a little rough but made it in my RWD high top camper van.

big area several fire pits in Tall Pines and ve9ry Rocky ! very easy to get to and great cell service

Report Check-In

Forest Service Road 568 continues up past the first open area to another pull-off. One other group tent camping when we arrived. We had to take some time to maneuver our van back onto the little point to avoid crowding the others but definitely worth it! Some late-afternoon sun and a nice perch. A bit muddy in early March. Some fire rings around. Beyond the point, the road was snowy and not passable for our 2WD Promaster.
