This BLM area on the way to the Angel Peak CG has several places to camp out. Very scenic and remote.................... Two bars cell.

What a beautiful place to spend the night! Very scenic. The best way to get here is via route 7175.
Report Check-InWas not about to get to the campground due to the resent rain. The road was to muddy a mile or so past the picnic area had to back up about a mile before getting turned around.
Stayed at the picnic area for the night.
This is a actually a picnic area. However, the was an RV setup right near the pit toilet, which was very clean, BTW. After seeing all the sites with views were taken down at the campground, I came back here and parked in a very short spur just before the parking area, and right on the edge of the canyon. Pretty private. The only noise here is some equipment rumbling down in the valley. Not annoying, just there. Another van came and parked in the lot. Obviously, this area is used for camping. Was great for an overnight stay. Be prepared for plenty of washboard roads on the way back to this area! So, don’t be in a hurry.

Report Check-InThis is a fine spot for the night. The gps brings you to a picnic area which I’m not quite sure is really intended/allowed to be used for camping. Nobody bothered me but I imagine rangers come to check the bathroom (which was open, yay!) so I wouldn’t push it for more than a night or maybe two
Report Check-InAbout 3 miles down the dirt road, bumpy, we drove a sienna van, very slow. Dry toilet, clean, very quiet, extremely beautiful view, we watched the sunset and sunrise, clear sky

Report Check-InStayed at Cliffs Picnic Area (3rd overlook/picnic area). Best spot for motorhome. Can be windy, so secure everything. Bathrooms closed for Covid at this time.
Report Check-InAngel Peak Scenic Area campground has about 10 designated camping spots with picnic tables and fire rings, some with small shade pavilions. Beautiful scenery and views for miles. 1-2 bars Verizon. Road on the way in was a washboard, but ok if taking it slowly. Our 17 foot trailer would fit at most sites. Possible to reach with a big rig, but wouldn’t fit at all the spots.
