Street Parking on River Walk | Wild Camping

Nous sommes restés dans le quartier 3 nuits. Une première nuit sur ce pont mais en soirée, ce n’est pas calme du tout en raison des cafés, bar, karaoke. Mais c’est une ville très animée, donc y a-t-il un meilleur endroit.

Prior post are correct on everything but the noise and traffic. Lots of busses , trucks , and street sweepers all night. The 10 hour spot around the corner ( Convent street ) is much more private . Just hope the bar is closed ( they were on a Monday )

Great spot for a night in San Antonio. Just as other have described - metered parking from 8am-6pm. Quiet for the most part at night other than a few passing cars and people walking by. Riverwalk is right outside and it’s a 10-15 min walk to all the restaurants.

Just as described. We arrived after 6pm and left before 8am so it worked great for us! It's a one way street and the parking is on the left side. Good for a one night stay.

we arrived around 8pm and there were two other vehicles parked there. the spot we choose was perfectly level and had a view of the river out the window. the section of street was clean and well-lit. it felt very safe considering we were in the middle of downtown in a big city at night. city buses passed by regularly, so I wouldn't say it was quiet, but we still sleept fine. we fed the meter at 8 to give us a little more time to get packed up before leaving. 45 cents bought us 15 min. since we planned to spend two days in downtown, this spot saved us lots of time driving to/from the suburbs just to sleep. we loved the convenience! we would use this spot again.

Still a great park-up, literally right above the riverwalk and about a 15 minute walk to restaurant row. Two police cars pulled up in the evening and one of the officers confirmed that we could stay here. He said he was glad we were here because he’d recently bought his own van! He’d stopped to check out the Sprinter parked behind us. Definitely not what you’d call quiet, especially since it was a busy Saturday night, but I’m a sound sleeper so I slept very well.

Metered between 8am-6pm. We arrived around 5:30 and had no issues for the night. Great place to walk the river walk in the evening. Fairly quiet and very close to everything! View is great out the window. There are 5 spots along the bridge. It feels very safe.
