Los Berries | Established Campground

This camping, has a NEW NAME: LOS BERRIES. Check them out on instagram @los_berries_coyhaique. On Ioverlander it appears under the old name: Kooch Camping.
It is one of the best campings I have been to when it comes to atmosphere. Christian the owner is one of the nicest people you will meet on Carretera Austral. We felt here like at home. There is an atmosphere of home. There is small camping next to the house. You can use kitchen, a comune are: a living room with fire place, TV, table, chairs and lockets if you have something private. People who come here are also making this space specil. You will meet cyclists, backpackers and motorcyclists who travel through Carretera Austral. It is valid its price as on other campings for the same price you may not have access to warm comune area, like here. Highly reccomended. Join in. What is more you are practically next to the center of Coyhaique, so it is very convenient. Honestly, once you are here you do not want to leave this place. It is magical 🥰🍀🏕

6,000pp - it’s pretty much camping in the garden of a house, so if you need to get water, the bathroom, electricity etc you go into the house for it. There is wifi, to get it in your tent make sure you camp away from the house as the router is located at the far-end of the garden. Overall it was fine for a night, although the bathroom was very dirty.

"camping" not worth 6000p.. there is a tiny kitchen in the house but you must use your own gas. only 2 tables and 4 chairs. 1 bathroom for however many people. dogs barking all night, better options around.

Ended up staying here for 5 nights. Christian and his family are very friendly. It’s an informal place and they work every day to make it better :) Lovely dog too.
We had a nice asado (veg/meat) together with Christian and friends. And went with them to the local brewery. Had a good time!
6000,- oh and best coffee and bread in town around the corner (peregrino)

We found this camping randomly and stayed almost a week with Christian, the owner. Very quiet and small camping (5 tents). You will share bathroom, kitchen and living with Christian. Half Camping, half hostel. Great ambiance !! The best price in Coyhaique

The owner seemed embarrassed and told us to go to the camping next to, El Camping

The entrance to the camping changed. Now the access is from the main street and the correct location is "Camino del Indio 24"(instead of 22).
Really nice place, and friendly for 5000 pp.

Stayed at Kooch Camping for two nights! Somewhat informal camp set up, but Cristian is very generous with his space and let's you use the wifi, living room, kitchen (w/ stove/fridge), borrow his bikes, and you can do laundry for 5k CLP. It's 5k CLP pp/pn for tent camping. Would stay again!

Very nice, small, informal camping, just a few meters up the street from El Camping, and much cheaper at 5000pppn, Christian accepts guests right now even though he will really open only next week (end of January 22).
Very fast wifi, showers are in the owner’s house (not a problem as far as we could say), and you can use his real kitchen for cooking!
Besides, Christian is super nice and helpful :)

Nice camping the owner is very nice, the bathrooms always clean, few tents, it is not massive, that is good to rest and has a very cozy cabin.

Koooch camping is located in a beautiful tourist area a few meters from the center, from the bus terminal, has a cabin with living room, kitchen, showers with hot water, wi-fi, beautiful views.
