Just off the Oregon Trail. Virtually no traffic and no farm houses to be seen. Only had coffee here but would be ok if caught short at night

Takes about 20-30min to get here from the highway. Not sure what the previous commenter was referring to, to us these seemed to be a dry desert spot to park. No amenities or fire ring, nothing special. We spent the night. It’s a quiet place to park but I don’t know that you need to go out of your way to camp here.
Report Check-InNice spot away from the highway, either you can park near the boat launch which offers a Port-O-John, or you can follow the single lane road that can be found to your left as you enter the lot. The road dead-ends to a small plot which had a pre-built fire ring. I stayed here for the night and was never bothered by anyone, just had a train roll through early in the morning across the river from the site. I was able to sleep outside of my car and had a real nice view of the stars. There's a sign on the entrance that says you're allowed to stay 10 days in every 30 day period.
