Latest Check-Ins

We spent one night here and it was fine. The road noise does fade, but comes back quite early. Otherwise it feels perfectly safe as a place to spend a night.

Report Check-In

Place is okay. It takes 45-60 min to get to the city by bus. The bus ride is not enjoyable at all. Ubers are hard to catch in the city.
Toilets in the Park nearby. We also payed 34k per night.

Report Check-In

Perfect to sleep in Bogota very safe and quiet. Mall shopping nearby

Report Check-In

We slept two nights here, when we arrived and when we left town. Safe and quiet - We paid 34000 to spend the night (charges 12000 every 12 hours, plus 10000 to stay overnight. Each hour costs 3800cop, so depending on the time you come and go, it is worth paying for 24 hours). There is no facilities, but the mall is very close, and is open from 07h-22h (we used the bathrooms there!). There is also a public park in front of the parking lot and many food tents on the street.
__________

Report Check-In

Grwat spot to stay a couple of nights. 25,000cop for two people and a van. The mall is close but it’s not the greatest (no day pass in the gym). Good access to the city and quiet enough during the night.

Report Check-In

Still the best option to stay in Bogota.
price now 25.000 and 5000 per person.
very friendly guards and very safe.
a little smoggy from the traffic around.
J24 Bus to Universidades 2500 p.p.
needs about 45 minutes. return from Universidades Bus D24. Sundays you have to take bus no. 6. he stops about 20 times and you need more time.

Report Check-In

Still a good place. WiFi wasn’t working though. Mall toilet: toilet paper only from vendor machine $300 only old coins. No guarantee it works. Better take it with you.

Report Check-In

We nearly stayed a week with our "Medium" Rig - and for us it seemed to be the best option to stay in Bogotá: little bit outside of the traffic madness and quite tranquilo at night, 24hours open and guarded, dog friendly, all you need around the corner in the shopping mall and the Millenium Bus as cheapest and fastest option to explore Bogotá. People from the parking are very friendly and correct, so you are expected to leave no trash and use bags for the dogs poo. It's a place where all the "better off" people park so as long our community respects the rules and leaves all clean Overlanders are welcomed. We payed 24.000 COP for 24hours plus 10.000 to sleep in the car. ..really ok for this place and we felt super safe. No facilities but makeable in case you are fine with only the toilets of the shopping center and its opening hours but in any case better for self sufficient travellers/vehicles.

Report Check-In

12k cop for twelve hours (evening to morning) plus 10k cop to sleep in the camper. Very friendly staff plus the mall has everything we needed.

Report Check-In

Secure level parking next to huge mall. 34K pn, 2 people. No services but you can get wifi (see previous check-in). Easy to get to Transmilenio line and visit downtown. We stayed 3 days until we ran out of water. Must be self-sufficient unless you can `hold it in` for 10 min to get to mall bathroom (when it is open).

Report Check-In

24,000/24 hours+10,000 to stay in vehicle. The guards were really nice here; one even came over to pick up trash in the corner where we were parked. And yes, you get WiFi here. It's the "wifi gratis para la gente"; you have to answer a couple of those questions but then it's SUPER fast. If you can connect to it, try (we have an antenna). Good location next to bus station.

Report Check-In

Great big parking and ok for big rigs. We arrived at 5pm, stayed 2 nights and left at midday with 2 ad and 2 children and paid 62k in total. It is 5k per adult for the night. Very well secured, relatively quiet for such a big town. It took us 1h30 to get to Monserrate with a Uber ! And 45min at 7pm from Bogota Centre.

Report Check-In

as others said. we paid 95,000 for 66 hours. we left our dog tied up and the guard was fine. nice little spot for dog to run in the grass.

I parked purposely on the line of a space to give us a bit more room to open doors. they then let the busses bext to us shift over a bit.

bus to city was a long ride but kids were free. if you have 3 or 4 people Uber may be cheaper and easier.

try crepes and waffles at the mall it's yum.

free WiFi never worked.

mall toilets from 7:45-20:00

Report Check-In

it's not bad here. 50 mins by bus to the centre, but would take far longer by car (bus has dedicated fast-lane). We certainly didn't want to take our truck down-town. Surprisingly peaceful to sleep at night. 24 hr security and very friendly guards. No facilities, so only suitable for vehicles which are totally self-sufficient. 34K $ per 24 hrs. Mall wi-fi was rubbish in the Mall and certainly didn’t reach to the car-park. McDonalds in the Mall had the best wifi we could find in the area, but it didn't reach outside, even with a long-range antenna.

34000/2Pers./Bigrig/24h/Sleeping in Truck
So far so good. Good for Big Rigs.
Unusual quiet at Night, for a Big City

Report Check-In

Good place to stay if you have a rig and don't want to drive around the city. $24,000COP to park for 24hrs PLUS and extra $5000pp to stay overnight even though they offer no services for that $5k. We paid $39,000/night for our family of 5 (youngest 2 kids were free). Close to mall, good wifi on phone, could not connect to laptop for some reason.

Report Check-In

$34.000 per 24 hours. We couldn't connect to wifi inside the mall. Incredibly quiet during the night. Good option in a big city.

Report Check-In

Parking securise et calme la nuit, a cote du mall Portal 80: 30000col pour 24h, bus direct pour le centre ville J24 et D70 la semaine et J95 le dimanche.
La wifi gratuite du mall fonctionne

Report Check-In

We couldn't connect to free WiFi at the mall. To center take the J24 and leave at Las Aguas. Back with the D70

Report Check-In

BUS: J24 during week, J95 du ring w-e (both go to Universidades)

LAUDRY: we went to 3lavanderias in neighbourhood, they don't wash per kilo (3700cop/piece)

Report Check-In

Good option to stay for one or two nights while visiting Bogota. The Mall "Portal 80" is close by (200m away). We payed 30'000 cop per night and car. To travel to the city center you can take the red Trans Milenio Bus "J-95" departing at the mall. At the station Universidades you are in the center.
To go back from the center to "Portal 80 Mall" you can take the Bus Line D.
Restrooms you can find at the mall as well some restaurants and cines.

Report Check-In

Prices as per previous comments - good value for secure parking whilst visiting Bogota

Report Check-In

We stayed here for 2 days. They asked us immediately on arrival if we would like to stay for the night in the car. They charged us 10.000 COP / 12 hrs of parking and tried to charge us an additional 5000 per person and 12 hrs of camping. We said that we will only sleep in the car during the night and so they accepted 30.000 COP in total per day. They have 24 hrs security service and we felt very comfortable during the stay. The Transmilenio-line J24 ends up at the university and it's only a short walk to the "furnicular" or the "Museo del Oro".

Report Check-In

Paid 30k Colombian pesos to park and camp.

Report Check-In

I think they scammed us becuase they told us it was 20 k to park and another 5k per person to sleep in the vehicle. I think they are getting wise to overlanders, so I would recommend just paying for parking and not mentioning that you are gonna sleep in the vehicle. They change shifts at night anyway and I dont think anyone would be wise to it. Total cost for us was 30k.

Report Check-In

Parked in back along fence. Nice grass area for the dog. Mall is a 2min. Walk. COP20mil a night

Report Check-In

Paid 20mil COP for the night. Secure, nice guards 24hr.

Report Check-In
