Elephant rock, open only from 5pm. But you can go around the fence and see it anyway.

Came here late and pop in for a drink (coffee)at night. There is small kiosks selling burgers and cold drinks. Great to have the elephant rock for ourselves at night as it is all lighten up. Asked to camp as well and Security told us that we can camp anywhere else we like in the surrounding area but not in the parking. We added our camping spot here have a look.

Super Size Elephant shaped rock formation, fenced in with public access during Ramadan from 8pm. Easily visible from outside the fence for photos.

Seems only open after 16h, but you can see the rock from outside the fence so it doesn’t really matter. We asked the police and it’s allowed to camp here. Easily accessible for 2wd. We spend the night at the arch, also accessible for 2wd.

Nice to see, loads of camping spots, don't do like us willing to camp close to the rock for the view. Some locals pushed the music all night...

Elephant looking rock and all sort of tourist crap being developed. Area surrounding is amazing. This place will surely change very quickly. At the moment you could easily wild camp close to the sight somewhere.
