On the way to the larger formal hot springs there is this pullout with a few tubs. No one around and no trash. In view of the road, but a nice spot to take a soak or camp.
One very hot tub, one medium with a "shower" and one warm with a "shower" pipe.
Enjoy!
update: there is a no camp/fires sign .but is probably for prolonged stay(?) one night was ok.but there may be rangers driving by in the daytime

It is the second time we sleep here. The first time three years ago. The place is beautiful, the thermal baths continue to exist. The night was quiet. Please Please 🙏 let this place clean. No toilet paper ! No garbage.
Report Check-Inlindo local. passamos a noite. pôr do sol incrível. POR FAVOR LEVEM SEU LIXO. DON'T LEAVE YOUR TOILET PAPPER. TOMA TU BASURA / NO DEJES SU PAPEL HIGIÉNICO.
Report Check-Inagain un this place, perfect!
otra vez por este lugar hermoso
nice spot to stop.I am here for tonight.there may be a sign "no camping"? but I didnt see it.I am parking anyway.spent sunset in the warm/hot small pools
Report Check-InThere's a sign saying no camping. In a tent you can tuck behind a rock to be out of view of the road. The springs are a nice temperature but the weed looks uninviting. Decent wind shelter, which is harder to find further South..
Report Check-InGood place to camp, the hot springs are amazing! Some wind protection and shadow. Very good !
We slept here for two nights, because in the Termas you can not camp. Nice to arrive at the evening and still get a bath in hot water .
