At 3600 m, 33 km before the border post coming from Copiapó, on the old track to the right of the road, before the next serpentines start, we stayed here an afternoon and one night to get used to the height, which we were beginning to note. Hardly any traffic, so basically quiet. Might be quite windy, not good for tents

We stayed for the night. No traffic at all. It was cold. Freezing. No camping. Just near the road.
Report Check-InWe stayed here for one night on the way back from Laguna Verde. As described, dirt track just of the awful (between the Border check and not long after the road splits off to the C-341) Ruta 71 to Argentina. Good for a stop off to get used to the altitude. There is a grave plot next to the location.
