oddly, the cambio shop didn't want to do cambio...but "casimiro" restaurant directly next door has a lady in a little room upstairs who will do cambio for a fairly good rate!

Just to add that in high season, we came around 15h30 and they run out of money for WesternUnion withdraws when we where waiting. So better get here when they open to be able to have your transfer.
this cambioplace has a western union desk, opens at 1pm. Notice the massive cues of foreigners, be there early. they sometimes run out of money and ask you to come back later. sending foreign currency to yourself or partner gives you an exceptional exchange rate. exchange online was 66,69 pesos, in shops 72-80 pesos and with W.U. 89 for 1€. the other western union place sent us here
