A good spot about 30 minutes away from Lake Tahoe. Down a paved logging road sitting by a small leak. Good dispersed, campsites. Vault toilets and Verizon cell signal that gets better the farther back you go. Some dirt bike traffic during the day but gone by dusk. Stayed 2 nights at the beginning of Labor Day weekend.

Just so others avoid making the same mistake I made, don’t try to enter this forest area from the road along Lake Tahoe. That’s here seems to be a new private, gated community that prevents access to the road to get to the lake. I hope others have more luck than me :)

remote small Campground on a sweet little lake. not many spots. bear boxes - use them. good at&t service. chilly.

Watch out for Google map shows a dirt road to reach this campsite. My car clearance is too low so couldn't make it. I used the alternative paved/semi-paved road.

Awesome spot but only 4 of the spots have “sort of level” parking for a van. Wouldn’t bring anything larger than a van in here.
2 bars of 5g on T-Mobile.
Was closed for winter until at least Memorial Day but open when we came in today.

Special spot. Limited spaces, but if you can score one, you’ll be very happy! Cell signal is decent.
There are a number of dirt bikes and quads driving through during the day. But easily overlooked.

Small, but lovely campground in the forest at a little lake. Place was full though, at least ten cars with many people leaving after not finding a site. People were up all night singing at their fire and disturbing everybody. Also it was super cold and windy.
Road was easy, just make sure to take the one coming from the west.

Would come here again though.

Tried to get the the campground from N Lake Blvd but the roads were gated off for the winter. Not sure if the northern entrance is accessible.

Absolutely beautiful location! Spots open up to lake which is steps away. Road in was almost entirely paved. We have AT&T and have service. Plenty to access. Kayak, hike, mountain bike, dog friendly.
