Something not right?

Description

the gate to see the waterfalls was already closed but the very friendly caretaker of the place let us in. for a 5$ propina we were allowed to drive down to the mirador and camp there. beautiful view over the lake (duh, it's a mirador), some stone tables, lots of moscitos at sunset, but a nice breeze, good stargazing and a beautiful sunrise. very quiet night!

Latest Check-Ins

Camped here last night with our Bimobil (6m10 long, 2m10 width, 3m10 height) no problem to access and park. There were recent works on the parking to make it flat. Nice view, quiet, and no mosquitos.

The parking lot is small and crooked, 4 US$ per person to stay overnight, waterfall without water at the end of November, quite suchitoto is not big rig friendly. we are lucky to be late (before 6pm) and the place was empty, so we fit)

We stayed here. During the day to visit the Mirador and Cascada, the price is $0.50c/person and $1 for parking.
After 5 p.m., if you intend to stay, the price is $4/person. Great place to stay and see the views of Lake. Since I have a 4x4 toyota 4runner, I parked at the lowest level parking lot where the lake views are. The attendance told me I would have to move my car to the upper parking lot by 8 am the next morning.
It was nice and quiet here at night. Definitely recommend people to stay.
They have baths but no duchas.
They also have parking down the road but we did not like it as you cannot park where the lake views are and where Gazebo is built.

great spot. quiet, beautiful view, closed secure, possibility of a barbecue. tuk tuk 3 dollars for suchitoto. biagnade in small river basins below. there is water in the waterfall only in the rainy season but interesting to see because of its formation. 2 dollars per person (not children)

Nice place to visit, you can sleep inside the place for 4 USD per person, no amenities except dry toilets. But you have a huge view of the lake on the camping spot, if you ask to the natural pools at the gate keeper, he can lead you there if you leave him à little tip.

If I understood the dude correctly, it's 0,5$ entrance per person and 1$ for parking the car. We asked about camping and he only said we should contact the number on their sign (+503 6201 1406) to ask about it. He / She (?) wanted $10 dollars including the entrance fees, negotiation over whatsapp (didn't answer my call) didn't work, even though people earlier only paid 2$. So we left and went to the bosque chinquera (?) instead. They want 5,75$ per person, but you are in a nice forest instead of next to the road.

We wanted to stay here but we were told it’s not allowed. Maybe depends on the time you arrive and who’s at the gate but don’t rely on just this option. Looks lovely though.

Excellent view, obviously. Very quiet night spent next to the cascade. Though we were here in dry season, the bed of the waterfall is still very interesting to see, but the view over the lake is the real winner with this spot.

There are three potential areas to park, one when you first enter, up near the road, which is most suitable for taller vehicles due to a low branch on lower levels, upper view is great and has a breeze. Next level down is a bit of an incline but we had no trouble and passed the branch with more room above us (we are 2.5m). right next to cascade, if in rainy season you'll fall asleep to waterfall sounds. Third level we did not try to go to as it was a bit Rocky, but also probably fine. It has another lookout point and some small stone tables.
It is $.50 pp and $1.00 per vehicle. when we asked if we could stay the night she first told us $10, which we said no way to. She quickly said ok $5, which would have been fine. However after to speaking a bit more she allowed us to stay the night for just $2. So the lesson is be friendly and gracious, and it can work in your favor.
The gate is locked overnight, we felt very safe. we came around 430 and she left before 5pm so don't be too late getting here I'd you hope to stay.
