Latest Check-Ins

We slept in the parking area (not inside the gate) and the views are amazing. The next morning we walked to the hands with our dogs off leash. The fee was 2,000p per person. Not as awesome as the ones in Argentina, but cheaper and easier to access. The museum is a nice presentation and included in the fee.

Definitely a must see in Chile. Interprations are in english also. Easy way up to the hand paintings. Entry fee was 2000 pP but the museum was closed. Stayed here in our truck for the night, stunning view on Cerro Castillo.Very quiet and peaceful

Now it’s 2000 CLP again, but I’d highly recommend it. The museum is one of the nicest I’ve seen during our travels. And the hand paintings are a must-see when you’re in Patagonia. (Also check out the ones south of Chile Chico.)

we were there in the morning and nobody else was there. no guides and no other visitors, but the gate was open. very nice built path with two mirador, a lot of information tables about history, geografic specialities, fauna and flora. the manos are interesting if you consider they were there, long before we were.. highly recommended, we would also pay for this.

We payed 1000 pesos pp, perhaps low season. They said 180 hand painting were found. Good visibility. A guide walks with you. Lot of info in the museum, most also in English.

Price went up. 2,000 per adult. Park outside the gate and walk in to the administration building. Very friendly man, gave us an explanation and took our money. About 30 min round trip easy hike, though the trail could be narrow at times. When we got to the rock paintings we were a little disappointed. With the rise in price, not sure I can recommend it.
