Hidden gem! $19 a night, $9.50 with a senior pass. First come first served, only 5 sites. Good beach access and some nice trails. Just one pit toilet, no other facilities.

Camp host Erik was the best! Very helpful directing us to an available site. Small campground but safe and easy

Report Check-In

Just like everyone said, nice, quite and small. Super chill host named Eric. If you have one of the fed passes it’s half price.
Did not see any water or trash cans, but dose have pit toilets.
Stayed one night in a van.

Report Check-In

This is a hidden gem. Eric, the camp host, is a genuinely friendly person who takes immaculate care of this small campground. We will be back.

Great camp host Eric works here at another horse camp of off one of the Forest service roads. he keeps it immaculate and is very nice. I didn't stay here today but I met him last week at the other campground. Well worth the money for a quiet hidden gem of a campground.

Super cute secluded cozy campground (obviously used as a horse camp for trail riding) with 6 tent spots, the cleanest pit toilet I’ve seen in years, super laid back camp host, and camping fees are only $16.43 which is the cheapest I’ve found in this area so far! The beach itself is a conservation area for endangered birds so no pets or crazy activity but super cool camp!

Unmarked from highway so a hidden gem. A nice loop trail as well as beach access trail. And bonus - Great Verizon signal!

Report Check-In

Small campground with pit toilets. First come first serve. Paid $10 (only cost $8 with our Interagency Pass, but we didn’t have change) at pay station at entrance. There were three other rigs here when we got here, and we ended up parking our camper in a designated parking area in between two campsites because we got here at night and couldn’t figure out where the other campsites were. About a five minute walk to the beach, but the trail was underwater while we were there. Overall nice, quiet, and cheap!

Very small as described but awesome. It’s quieter than a normal rv park of course. I fit my 30 ft rv although leveling was on a slope. People bring horses. Right by the dunes.
It’s $15 a night plus tax.
Cool area to relax a few nights.

Report Check-In

Didn’t spend the night here but used the day use area to clean out my van. Super clean other than the horse manure. A quick walk to the beach. Wouldn’t find it worth paying for a night since there is so many other free spot. There is a place to compost here but it’s only compost.
Lost of horse poop everywhere.

Cheap little gem. No running water which is a shame but can't complain at the price. Fire pits and spacious sites, only 5 spots and FCFS so lucky you if you get one!

Report Check-In

This place is a small gravel cul de sac with about 5 close quarter spots. 13 dollars a night.

Report Check-In

As described. I was very happy to be in a small, quiet campground for a night. There are five spots but two of them seem to be for walk-in sites (although I doubt anyone would notice or care if you slept in a van there. The camp host doesn't seem super hands-on.)

#1 and #5 had folks in RVs who seemed like they'd been there for a while but I don't know if they were living there or just there for a couple of weeks. They were both polite in their use of generators, which was appreciated. I rolled in in the early afternoon and snagged site #2 for the night. I would have stayed a few nights and explored if I had more time.
