Nice place. You can park on flat solid sand next to the pier. Easy access and big enough for any kind of vehicule. We stayed there with other overlanders who spent 3 nights : the police checked them only to ask if they need anything, so it seems totally fine to stay there. The ferry come twice a week (at least at this season). Access to the beach (and we saw indeed two dolphins !). Very quiet.
Report Check-InNice and quiet place. We did not went further north because there was a lot of water on the road. You can do a nice beach walk all the way to the northwest coast. Did not see any dolphins, too early in the season I think. But luckily no mosquito's!
Report Check-InReally nice place. Often dolphins are swimming around the pier so very easy to spot. If it's too windy, try point estuary camp to the south (offers wind protection from N/NW direction)
Report Check-InYou can park on the left side of the pier. Flat. Was very windy though.
Report Check-InBest place in town to stay. Beautiful view, many dolfins, some sealions and two pinguïns passing by. Good fishing (Robalos) of the jetty. Very peaceful, jungle beach paradise. (and still got internet via Entel/Claro) Walk the sendero the Chucao, starts 300m back in town and takes you through a beautiful forest, walk back on the wild beach. Maybe you see some more seacreatures!
