Description

New customs / immigration station opened in 2019. Crosses the Yacyretá Hydroelectric Dam. When traveling between Asunción and Buenos Aires. saves kilometers and time instead of the Encarnacion - Posadas crossing. Open 6:00am to 6:00 pm. No large trucks or buses permitted

Despite both the Argentinian and Paraguayan governmental websites and police along the way saying this crossing is open, it’s only open to semis hauling cargo. This place should be marked closed.

Traveling on a motorcycle, officers told me I'm not allowed to cross on the bike. It's only for "normal" Cars.
