Something not right?

Description

Just a little ways up a dirt road to lots of options. We took the first flat one marked here on a graded bench beside the road. A small knoll conceals the spot from Santa Clara. Strong cell service with Google (likely T-Mobile). Do not attempt to come here if the road is wet due to the clay soil even if you have 4-wheel drive.

Latest Check-Ins

some nice dispersed camping in the hills south of Santa Clara

Report Check-In

Two-three big parking lots that could fit dozens of vans. A couple spots dispersed for more privacy. Surprised how many places there were. Here on a Saturday with plenty of open spots. Close to town but quiet, except the dirt bikers. Would not come up here in a car, dirt road was rough but not horrible. Saw several buses up here as well. Definitely a lot of broken glass.

Awesome spot, lots of other van lifers 3 bars LTE, and it’s flat! The hill is pretty steep though, not sure if I would ever do it in a sedan but anything bigger won’t have an issue

Report Check-In

Stayed here 2 nights in a row. It's close to new housing development on the first flat after coming up the hill. You can hear some cars going up and down at nice but quiet and safe. Coming back to this next time.

Great spot! Lots of other rigs dispersed around the area. The road is dirt but in great condition. We had no problem finding a spot to accommodate our truck and TT (45 ft combined). Woke up to a ton of USFS firefighters doing training - super friendly! Will definitely stay again.

Report Check-In

Excellent spot with views of the city, quiet, dark, available, full cell service on Verizon, lots of parking options if other lots are occupied. Easy access. Traveled as a single female in my Jeep and felt super safe.

This site is no longer valid. I came here to camp but found only dump trucks and excavators occupying the area. New housing development being built is my guess.
