Turning off the highway, at the Wells Dam Rest Area, there's an arrow for cars (no overnight camping) and an arrow for Trucks/RVs.
Following the Trucks/RVs sign you wind down the hill a couple of miles. There is no further indication of the Truck/RV area, but you end up at a boat launch with a large parking lot, toilets, and no signage forbidding camping. We slept well and were not disturbed.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
As you descend to the boat ramp there are two large signs that say no overnight camping.
Report Check-InLooks like a there are a couple trailers and a motor home here. We are gonna stay one night.
Report Check-InOn the way in there are apple trees. Super cute. We didn’t end up staying cause there was a sketchy dude ima truck that came in after us and just pulled over just a bit too close to us. So we left for Walmart. We also came after dark so it was hard to tell what it was like. We saw toilets might be vaults. One other RVer.
