The bare essentials for a camping. Given that there are not a lot of options here, they can charge whatever they want which is currently 11.000 CLP per person. For that you have a picknick table and electricity at your plot. The toilets are nasty, showers almost non existing (no pressure and absolutely not hot, very cold). There is a asado but to have a grill you need to pay 3.000 extra. Owner all about money and not friendly. Note that you can only pay cash. The night before we staid in Frutillar where you have way more value for money.

beautiful campsite next to Lago Llanquihue. Owners were super friendly and spoke German which was great for conservation.
had lovely Chilean neighbours who offered us the most delicious pork cooked on a spit. it
was a bit noisy in the evening but no problem overnight.

Report Check-In

We didn't "stumble" over/under low cables in a quite high vehicle, but also had some alarms of our fridge at 220V. Used very little the a bit worn down sanitary facilities.
Very friendly owner, german speaking if preferred. Restaurant was being prepared to open, started with a birthday party that didn't disturb us at all as immediate neighbors.

If you have a big rig pay attention to the cables hanging in the entrance. You can use the thin wooden stick, that holds the cable temporarily (since more than two years, as the owner told us) by one person lifting it while the other drives the car. Rest of the entrance narrow but lovely. were here in the second half of December and only 3 cars/tents. After telling him about WIFI-problems owner repaired next day; signal good at the restaurant and then getting weaker. Didn't use sanitary facilities. If You use electricity on the campground pay a little bit attention. Could be wrong conncetd (we had electricity on the car chassis during connection). But altogether a beautiful place with a nice view; paid 20.000 for 2 persons and a van. place is recommendable, restaurant closed

Beautiful views of lake Llanquihue and volcanos Osorno and Calbuco.
Owner very helpful and friendly.
CHP 10,000 pp

Nice spot by the lake, although it can be hard to get your camper to a flat spot. The toilets were pretty nasty and the showers were not open (locked - not even an opportunity for a cold shower). It cost us 20.000 for two people for one night. There’s a barbecue hosted on Sundays, so be prepared to not sleep in longer than 9am before you are woken up by screaming children.

Officially this camping is only open in the high season, which is December, January an February. BUT ... unofficially guests are welcome throughout the whole year. Just drive up to the camping, go to the red house next to the gate and you will be let into the camping ground. The owner is a nice man and will provide wifi (only next to restaurant) building, connect gas for hot water etc...

great location and awesome view!

Report Check-In

Campground seemed closed but the friendly owner soon showed up and got water and electricity going. Unfortunately, no hot showers due to maintenance of the shower block. We were the only guests and stayed one night for 10K CP per person, no extra charge for the camper. Beautiful location at lake front with great view of the volcanoes on a clear day (we weren't that lucky), many trees and wind sheltered areas. Wifi only decent near the restaurant building.

10.000 pp for a van and a tent, super super packed in high season. Wifi just available in the restaurant, in front of it nearly no connection. 4g with claro. Shower was too hot or too cold. Long queue in the morning. Water is very rusted, not suitable to fill our tanks. Electricity on site, private BBQ and table. Beautiful views over the lake and the volcano plus direct access to a little beach.

We asked the owner if there was hot water, and we were answered that yes. The result is: no hot water in men's shower, and the water in women's shower was hot for like 2 minutes before turning cold, without being able to have hot water again. After we advised them, the owners changed the gas bottle and we had hot water again. The wifi is OK, though the signal is only close to the restaurant. Otherwise, the spot is pretty and the owners are nice. But for $14.000 we expected something better

Report Check-In

No hot water when we arrived in Dec 2015. Owner told us, that hot water is available in high season (Jan/Feb). price unknown
