We used their services to ship in a container Montevideo to Europe. They chose Antwerp as the arrival port. This is a European company with European employees but does not operate at all on European standards. The price quoted was the all inclusive price paid, so no surprises for us there. But that’s it for praises. In general, we had a better experience shipping Panama to Colombia looking back despite some frustrating bureaucratic stuff. With Wave we had really poor communication. No instructions or info was given unless directly asked. They said we would load in a warehouse. We loaded outside, in pouring rain, in a terrible space. Mismanagement of paperwork was constant. Wrong container number, bill of lading number and arrival date were emailed during shipping and only corrected upon our insistence and with our photo documentation of correct container number. We were handed off to another company in Belgium called Zeigler Logistics. Receiving agent was rude, argumentative and changed plans many times. They did not wait until date they set with us to unload our container, but opened the container, climbed through our van, and dragged our vehicles out after not being able to hook up the batteries or start them. The vans then sat unlocked, windows down in a poorly secured warehouse outside of the port until our appointment day. We would have happily moved our unload date to accommodate their change, but we are certain the agent didn’t want to work on the weekend or Monday and the warehouse people did. Lack of understanding of required import paperwork and documents like they’ve never handled a foreign vehicle. Just choose another company.

When you are looking for an agent in Montevideo do some homework before choosing Wave Logistics.
They are really very very expensive compared to other agents.
Search the app in Montevideo.
1600$ for land costing
550$ for a yearly Mercosur.
Also for the Mercosur there are cheaper one.
Also we found out that one of the boxes was broken into and robbed during the voyage and all they had to say was they were sorry

They offer an end to end service, therefore makes the process a lot easier. BUT very expensive and I'd they hit an issue, they have no incentive to try and help, rather add cost. I was told I can not import a truck with an attached motorbike, but with more research I found I could and when I told them how they suggested I do it myself and still charged me!

go with Eduardo, he is honest, well priced and can enable customs easily. he may not be able to do the complete process, but talk to him first and he is super helpful enabling the best solution.

Quoted us $5500 per car in a shared container. Eduardo quoted $4500 for the entire container. Waaaay overpriced. The problem is Wave already found someone to share the container with. Contact me if you’re that person - shipping to US in June 2023. @the.vandersons

Can highly recommend them. Communication was always prompt, no hidden or surprise charges and clearance went smoothly. They also organized Mercosur insurance for us.

Attention sur le plan la pastille est mal positionnée mais c’est vraiment juste à côté au 604 de l’av 25 de mayo au premier étage (voir la photo)

We shipped our car from Antwerp to Montevideo with Wave logistics. Really great service. Quick responses to email when we hadn't arrived yet. While in Montevideo they accompanied us to customs and the port. Would recommend their services.

Shipping agent in Montevideo. They handle all steps required to get a vehicle unloaded and through customs. Honest, all inclusive price up front and no surprise charges later. Fantastic customer service. Everything went completely smoothly and after my vehicle cleared customs and their obligation to me was finished, Martin spent several additional hours escorting me to different shops in Montevideo to sort out an electrical issue on my vehicle. He stayed with me until the issue was solved. Really great guy! Very, very good guys to work with.
