Mexico
This is clearly marked as an agriculture checkpoint. Waved us through with no issues. Looks like a permanent checkpoint but they didn’t look interested in tourists.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
They were not stopping southbound vehicles when we passed through today.
Report Check-Insimple check through, 2 nice guys, educating on the mango fly issues and handing out pamphlets.
Report Check-InNorthbound, asking if you have Fruit on board and gave me a brochure.
Report Check-InNo one on the Southbound side, but it looked like Northbound was getting stopped. A guy was flagging a truck with livestock to park in the lot.
Report Check-Innorthbound: Drove through at 10:30 AM on a Tuesday and were waved through.
Report Check-InWaved us through going southbound. It looked like they were briefly walking to the northbound cars.
Report Check-InJust went through here, northbound 8am. No one there, just drove through.
Report Check-InWaved us through with no issues. Looks like a permanent checkpoint but they didn’t look interested in tourists
Report Check-InSeems to be a pest control (ticks) checkpoint for northbound vehicles. There were still signs for police checkpoint but no military or police on our way south. Didn’t get stopped and nobody there on our side.
Report Check-InDrove through going South to La Paz. Guarda Nacional had taken over the booth and was inspecting cars. They were friendly snd peaked in the back window at the dogs and told us to have a nice day. Not sure if this will be a long term thing or not.
Report Check-InWaved on through - no problem at all. Local guy in front of us was stopped.
Report Check-Inthere are police here but it seey to be only an agriculture checkpoint only stopping large trucks north or south
Report Check-InHeading north one guy with a walkie talkie was just sitting on the side of the building, looked at our Skoolie kind of weird but just waved us through
Report Check-InNobody even acknowledged us here. They didn't wave us through or even ask us to stop, but I guess our Skoolie is a little odd and attracts attention so no more than 2 minutes after passing, we got pulled over by a cop who was very nice, just asked us where we were headed and where we came from, and if we have any drugs or guns. Once he figured out we're just tourists on vacation, he let us go. No problems, super nice, and spoke English when he heard me struggling with my Spanish but was very patient and helped me with some of my phrasing.
Report Check-InOnly one guy here, didn’t look to be military, just was wearing an orange vest and waved us through. Super easy👍
Report Check-Inour Spanish friends in car in front of us were just waved through. we had to pull over and were asked about our nationality. then just waved through.
Report Check-Innormal questions. asked us to open the back window to peak in. and what was in the cooler but didn't open it.
Report Check-InWaived us through - no hassles and we are a family traveling in a skoolie.
