Perfect stop on your way to the Kafue NP.
Informal campsite owned by the young and enthousiastic Dutch couple Lars and Kellie. They just started a NGO with the aim: Bringing local farmers and lodges together.
They can tell you all about their adventures.
To meet overlanders they opened their nice garden for overlanders.
They have boreholewater, solar to charge youre phone, outside solar heated shower, pizzaoven, kitchen and sometimes WIFI.
It is all rustic, but has a very good vibe and if you bring wood and ingredients for a pizza it will be a fantastic stop on your way to Kafue NP. Close Nalusanga village.
PRICE: only $7,50 pppn and you support a NGO.

Report Check-InThis is our campsite. We've actually moved, but I don't know how to change that on the website. So I've made a new page. In principle, everything remained the same, just a 10 minutes drive from the original location.
In short, this location doesn't exist anymore.
Rustic camping and supporting two young Dutch people starting a NGO together with the community. Clean toilets and open shower.
Report Check-InNow the Cafe / Restaurant is open! Enjoy some snacks and a clean Toilet on the way to Kafue. Great chance to check put the project run by Lars and Kelly. Great and enthusiastic people with lots of creative ideas!
Report Check-Inwe were looking for a garage, so stopped here, there is no garage anymore but Kellie and Lars let us stay here the night and helped us to find one in Mumbwa. We don't know about the facility at site since we didn't use any. Good MTN signals.
Report Check-InWe camped a night in the garden of Lars and Kellie. They run a local project at this place that's interesting to see and hear there stories. We could use the toilet block and made pizza's on there pizza oven! Fun to stay here for a night, it's a good stopover before heading to Kafue NP or Lusaka.
