Areas with fire rings on a lake. There are treed spots, good for summer as they are shaded, but also open areas in which the sun isn’t obstructed. Peaceful and quiet, although, less so on weekends as it appears locals use the sites for get-to-gethers. Lots of birds to observe. Heard wolves from a distance both nights. Quite nice. Was blessed with a beautiful sunset! Sporadic Rogers/AT&T reception.

place is closed, new private property signs at each spot around the lake.
Report Check-InNice spots right at the water. Only one was available, all the other spots were occupied by locals (looked like more permanent occupants).
Report Check-InReally nice spot, actually 4-5 spots. But it’s not the lake it’s the deepest part of Rupert Inlet. Still very beautiful though. Outhouse toilet and stone fire pits as described. Local campfire ban enforced.
Report Check-InCame here after all the rec sites around Port McNeill seemed to be closed. It’s a nice spot, but there were some big trailers parked here when I arrived, so I pulled into the spot off the road just before and it was fine for one night.
Enjoy
Great spot at a lake.
We stayed here for one night with our suv and it was quiet during the night.
