Now there's a panel "no acampar". Plus many locals were already there starting a fire. We didn't want people partying around us so we didn't stay.
Report Check-InStayed one night here. To get here is through Collipuli town. Both side of river are suitable for camping and have picnic tables, i took the 2nd junction after the bridge. When i was here, there were two big tents from one local family opposite if the river. Road to get here is paved from the town until you take turn left to get to the riverside is unpaved but good roads. The river smells something, so i don't use for cooking and swimming. A little bit noisy from Ruta 5, mixed sounds with the river sounds.
Report Check-InNice place to put a tent and swim in the river. There was a lot of locals during the day, and a few cars passed by in the night. There is road dirty, but it was not a big problem.
Report Check-InFree spot near the Malleco River. Follow directions for Balneario El Bajo Malleco just outside Collipulli. A little bit dirty, seems very common to locals. No facilities. No 4x4 needed. Good for one night.
