Unfortunately camping is not allowed anymore.
We stayed 3 nights, on the last night we slept next to other campers
driving a red Volkswagen T2 with Swiss license plate, which dumped a mattress there. Next day the security came to us that because of this, they don’t allow overnight stay anymore. It’s actually private property.

For what it’s worth, we had amazing views and convenience of toilets nearby. Although the first night we parked near the edge which got a bit scary with the extreme winds at night, so later we parked next to the building. In weekend it was a bit noisy with people parking nearby playing loud music at 3-4AM.
Still grateful we could enjoy this place and probably be the last ones.

Don’t leave trash behind and ruin places like this for others!

Great spot for city camping. We stayed quite a few times during our tour in and around Ushuaia, and only saw a couple of other overlanders. Everything as mentioned below! Happy travels!

Good secret spot just past all the parking. It’s very quiet and feels so safe. Not another soul all night. Hopefully this won’t become too popular or this might be lost as a spot for overlanders.

Keep this one a secret!!! The lower lot is noisy. Up the hill is crowded. But if you continue towards the exit and turn towards the water……WOW!!! Ocean front parking. No reggaeton music. No dust. Just wind and views for miles. The wifi does not reach but cell phone service is good. You can enter the mall through the parking garage. Bathrooms. Wifi. Charging stations. Food court. Video games. Movies. Grocery store. Workout center.
Oh darn, I’ve ruined the secret.

This is a parking lot with different step level. You can park close to the wall to be protected from the wind. Toilets in the commercial center (open until 10pm) and free wifi inside. Close to la anonima. Quiet at night, no loud car /music and far from the road.
For big motorhome choose the upper parking.
