parking accessible à un camping car mais pas un camion. il y a un peu plus de 3,20 mètres. très bien situé, proche à 5 min à pieds des sites touristiques (couvent Santa Teresa, cathédrale, musée de la monnaie, et départ des mines...) il y a des toilettes, pas ultra propre. on peut faire de l'eau (bon débit). tarif nuit 40 b et un peu plus la journée. on a négocié avant pour rester 48h plus une nuit. et on a eu un bon tarif : 130 b au total. pour l'eau j'ai laissé une propina car elle me demandait d'y aller doucement... répétition de musique juste à côté mais ensuite nuit très calme.

O estacionamento está cerca de 3 quadras da praça principal e proximo da peatonal com bares e restaurantes. O local é adequado para se deixar o motorhome ou mesmo pousar. pagamos 25 bolivianos pelo pernoite. Os donos são gentis e atenciosos.

I think is a good place if you don't want to let you mh alone during the day when you are knowing the city.
We payed 23bs. 18pm-8am. (10car,10us,3 extra hour). Not really nice place to be outside. No grass for pets.

Es un buen lugar si no queres dejar tu motorhome solo estacionado en la calle mientras recorres la ciudad. Pagamos 23 bs. Desde las 18 a las 8 am. 10 el auto 10 por dormir arriba y 3 por la hora extra. Si no se entra 19hs.
Si queres te podes quedar mas de las 8am pero tenes q pagar 3bs x hora.
No es un lugar muuuy lindo. No hay césped para mascotas.

The driveway up here from the lower town is very steep with narrow streets. Vehicles over 5.5m are doing themselves no favours. Otherwise safe and quiet

Safe place to stay next to the city center. Gate was everytime closed. Knock at the door and they will open it soon. Toilets are not working.

llegamos a la noche y nos quedamos un día y medio: es decir dos noches (nos fuimos a la mañana del segundo día). se puede dormir sin problema dentro del vehículo de hecho saben que los viajeros les encontramos por la app de iOverlander! preguntamos el precio antes de pasar, directamente les dijimos que íbamos a quedarnos un día y medio y nos dijo 25bolivianos. el sitio es seguro y perfecto para recorrer el centro, está a menos de 5 minutos de la plaza principal. hay baños pero mejor no contar con ellos...son del auténtico terror...

We slept here one night and let the motorhome ona day and a half. 15 BOB a diary, so we paid 22 BOB for a day and a half.
Safe place, an excellent option to leave the motorhome and go to the center.

Dormimos una noche acá, pero la estadía del motorhome fue de un día y medio. El costo de la diaria es de 15BOB, así que nos cobró 22BOB por el día y medio.
Es un lugar seguro para dejar el motorhome e ir a recorrer el centro.

Place is allright, near to plaza principal, lots of things around, owners are very friendly.
But be aware of the toilets, in more than 20 years of traveling i haven’t seen anything like that, its truly terrifying …

It’s a good parking area. (20 BOBs/day). You can also sleep there and the woman is extremely friendly. But if you have a big rig be careful. The street to get there is really small and avoid to drive to the center.It’s not possible . Furthermore the parking area is really full, so sometimes you have to wait a couple of hours to get a free place..

We parked there from 11:00 to 14:00 the next day. Payed 15 (day) + 15 (night) BOB (after a little friendly discussion.)
To make clear: height restriction is as other mentioned: 3,65-3,70 m.

Good place for stay in Potosi. high restriction of 3,50m. Still 20Bs/day (including night). There is a bathroom but it's only for people that can't see, can't smell and can't touch. If you wanna get a sickness, this is your toilet. WC PHOTO UPDATE

It was the worst toilet that we saw in our lifes. The toilet in the pictures is from an overlander. The toilet of this place has shit everywhere, it is smelling, dirty, disgusting, you really need stomach to use it. Another thing is: don't leave you car key, they give the car key to the customers to move the cars around the parking. Choose a place that you don't need to move your car for others. Besides this, it has a good location near city center, it is safe and quiet after 22:00. I beleive it is our "best option" in Potosí, but get ready for the toilet it is traumatizing!

Most convinient place in Potosi if you are travelling with a self-contained motorhome. Its close to the center, you have got water to replenish your tank and a possibility to empty your toilette cassette. We came on a Sunday, otherwise there might not have been sufficient space for us. We stayed 4 nights, very quite after 22.00h.

no issues staying here. we we're two vehicles. bathrooms are extremely dirty but usable. no power but there's water in the bathrooms. it's pretty quiet and convenient here but a bit tricky to find. any Size vehicle can make it

We went here to park our car for 2 days while we were staying in Potosi but when we got there they told us that we couldn't park there. We found this a bit strange and told that we wanted to pay for it but they still refused. It didn't look like it was full or anything... Maybe we just got bad luck but we couldn't park there.

Near centre of town. it will fit RIGS up to 3.6 meters high. But next to the gate is one spot for bigger rigs. no overlanders when we visited but carpark was just about full and would only have room left for small cars IE landcruisers. We did not use facilities but location is perfect for city exploring. Be warned streets are narrow and steep.

Very nice parking lot. Secured in the center of Potosi. Cynthia is a very nice host. She will help you as much as she can. As other overlanders said, the toilets are out of use. But Cynthia expect to change them. Maybe with dried toilets as i suggested her. But for that she needs more overlanders to do it. Support her for the good of our community.

This is the location of Ilustre Colegio De Abogados. Good n safe location. Close to center. Gate closes at 7pm n opens 8am. Just knock on d gate to come in if its close. 10b per day n 10 per night. Sunday free day parking. Friendly owner. Height restriction 2.9m.

It's open. Quite big parking, 20 Bol per 24 hours, the (big brown) gate closes at 10 pm. Toilets are still dirty but better than nothing! Great location, nice family, nice town.

Attention: on all GPS maps we have Calle Lanza is marked as a one-way street going the wrong way; it's one-way COMING from the plaza (not going towards it)! Difficult to navigate through the narrow roads with a really big rig!
Access gate has a cross bar (concrete!) which limits height! I don't know our exact height, somewhere between 3.65 and 3.70 metres, we had millimetres to spare.

The place was packed with vehicles when we were there so if you have a big rig we wouldn't recommend counting on this place. Also, toilets were the second worst of the trip through alllll of the Americas! Yikes.

This place is getting to be a bit of an overlanders' meeting spot - 3 european trucks when we were there. 10 bob per day and 10 bob per night. A toilet in the corner of the yard but we saw no other facilities.

Run by a nice family. They let us set up our big tent next to our car and sleep for the night, even though it was crowded. Completely secure and quiet. 10 BOL for the day and 10 BOL for the night, nothing extra to camp.
