Day-use fee $8, we were able to use the showers for $1 for 5 minutes, fill our water and throw out recyclables. Great little spot!

from the highway it actually is called Standish-Hickey State Recreation Area. Then once you turn into the driveway and go to register you see the name rock Creek Campground. Very nice, quaint, quiet, campground with huge trees everywhere! An amazing place to eat straight across the road “The Peg House” with a lovely shaded seating area and amazing burgers and sandwiches. You have to go to the left of the gift shop to see the grill and shaded area with nice picnic tables. One of the three campgrounds here is closed at the moment and one is currently only for hiking and foot traffic (unsure why) but this campground is great. As long as you can get a site. It’s self registration. $35 a night. Campsites are small, so large rakes likely won’t fit, it says 24 feet rigs at the front gate. Must play cash or check only. No credit cards excepted. As noted in the reviews, there are pay showers and the bathroom stalls are pretty well kept. There are no amenities such as Hydro or water or sewer hook up. But there are water spots regularly through the park which I am guessing are not potable.
