seamless transition to the new road which is in great shape. no need to worry about the dunes here, or anywhere else on this road. besides the first 10km entering from the west, this road is pretty good except for a few small sections of washboard. easily cruising 60kmh and up to 80 in many places. this road was recommended to us by a local in Las Grutas. it's alright.

There is a new „road“ (with roadsignes) following the shoreline. No problem to pass even with 2x4.

in Bahia Creek a sign says that the road ist covered with sand 😀
we tryed to find the road across the dunes and we did it👍

From this point (-41.05784, -63.99837) road is closed for the next 6,5 km westwards, due to sand dunes. A possible detour is to follow the coast along the beach to the point -41.03699, -64.07232. Only with 4wd. Please be aware about tide.

road was not fixed yet. would not go further than the village Bahía creek as parts of the road are already covered by sand.

As already indicated in the description, the road is blocked and you need to drive through the beach. 4x4 mandatory.

Impossible to pass with a 2wd, some dunes have covered the original track. With a 4wd, take the track on the beach.
The road is gorgeous though!
