Something not right?

Description

Large gravel lot, plenty of level ground. Owner (very friendly) says it’s ok for travelers to spend even multiple nights. Cafe has WiFi (ask for password) and food was very good (good value). Railroad is across the road so you will hear the train when going by (Just like at the local truck stop however-no truck traffic). Right next door is a gas station with some of the best gas and diesel prices in southern California (fuel is quite a bit cheaper in Kern county than in L.A. county). You can find cheaper fuel in Bakersfild if going that way.

Latest Check-Ins

Great quiet place until the very nearby train roars by every 45 minutes literally all night. Earplugs don’t even help! If you want sleep, go elsewhere.

Report Check-In

Friendly staff. I would advise against trying to sleep there, train horns will wake you up and rattle you every 45 minutes.

Super nice folks and a nice little restaurant. We parked in the back on a gravel spot that was pretty level. Good Verizon service. The train noise was terrible. Since it’s passing through a town, it blows its whistle EACH and EVERY time it passes. Seemed like once or twice and hour ALL night.

As described earlier; a large gravel parking lot adjacent to Gracian Grill Restaurant. Grab a good meal and ask the Owners for permission to over night in their lot. Generous and gracious hosts. Grab a coffee in the morning as they open at 700am

Ok for a one night stop. It rained and it feels like we tracked most of the sandy, not gravel, lot into our rig! Train loud but not much during night.
